No two of these bowls are the same, and that is exactly why I love it. Carved from a single piece of wood, it keeps the uneven shape of the tree, its edges rising and falling like waves. On my table, filled with apples and oranges, it looks less like a dish and more like something found on one of my long walks in the forest.

1. Nature on the Table

Wood brings warmth that no ceramic or glass can match. The grain, the knots, the uneven rim make the bowl feel alive. Even with nothing in it, it is a centerpiece.

2. Everyday Uses

Fruit is the obvious choice, but it also works for bread, nuts, pine cones in winter or keys by the door. It turns a dining table or kitchen counter into a place that looks cared for, without any effort.

3. Honest Notes

Solid wood does not like water: wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it right away, and never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Oil it occasionally with food-safe mineral oil to keep it from drying out. Live-edge pieces vary a lot in shape, color and size, so the one you receive will not look exactly like the photos, and that is the point.

4. How to Choose

5. Questions People Ask

Can I put wet fruit in it? Dry fruit before putting it in, and do not let water stand in the bowl.

How often should I oil it? Every few weeks, or whenever the wood looks dry and pale.

Will it crack? Solid wood can crack if it dries out or gets soaked. Regular oiling and quick drying help prevent it.

Some things are beautiful exactly because they are not perfect. A bowl shaped by the tree it came from is one of them.
